The Ateneo de Zamboanga University seeks support for the sustainability of the professional chair, which provides significant benefits in retaining outstanding and hardworking faculty at the University.  These chairs may be used to supplement the base salaries of faculty members.  These gifts greatly enrich support for the teaching and research activities of distinguished faculty.

Faculty Chair.  Allows the donor to donate a maximum of Php 24,000/year or P1,000/month to provide supplement support to faculty by supporting research, curriculum development, artistic performance, or other professional endeavors.

Endowed Faculty Chair.  In this case, a minimum of Php 250,000 can be given for this program.  Donation is maintained in perpetuity; only the interest income from the fund will be used to support the professional chair.  An endowed professional chair may be named after the donor’s name of after a person that the donor wishes to recognize.

One-year Scholarship Program (Php 25,000). A full tuition and fees of one student for two (2) semesters or one (1) school year.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Endowed Scholarship Program (Php 1,500,000).  A one-time donation in perpetuity.  The interest on the principal is used to cover expenses on tuition and other fees.

Four-year Scholarship Program (Php 250,000). A full tuition and all fees are covered for the entire four-year degree course.

One-year Scholarship Program (Php 60,000). A full tuition and all fees are covered for two (2) semesters or one school year.

One Semester Scholarship Program (Php 25,000). A full tuition and fees are covered for one (1) whole semester.

SCHOOL OF MEDICINE (SOM)

The SOM program existed to help produce responsive and responsible physicians who will provide medical services and respond to the health problems of the people and communities in the areas particularly in Western Mindanao. At present, out of the 100 medical students, 60% of the populace are enjoying scholarship grants.

Endowed Scholarship Program (Php 1,500,000). A one-time donation intended exclusively for scholarships given to qualified individuals. The interest on the principal will take care of the tuition and other fees of many scholars over the years.

Four-year Scholarship Program (Php 380,000). A full tuition and all fees are covered for the entire four-year degree course.

One-year Scholarship Program (Php 94,000). A full tuition and all fees are covered for two (2) semesters or one school year.

One Semester Scholarsgip Program (Php 47,000). A full tuition and fees are covered for one (1) whole semester.

Pan Kada Dia Program

A food subsidy program given to poor and needy students.  At the moment, the program has 30 recipients.

	Ateneo Business Resource Foundation, Inc. (ABRFI) Responses to the need to develop entrepreneurial skills especially among lowly agriculture-based groups in the City.
	Center for Community Extension Services (CCES) Helps provide better access to health and medical assistance to the poor, isolated and depressed areas of Zamboanga City.
	Social Awareness and Community Service Involvement (SACSI) Serves as the social involvement arm of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.  Its primary concern is the total formation of the students – able to make a difference wherever they maybe.
	Gallery of the Peninsula and the Archipelago (GPA) Recognizes the arts and culture of the artists of the Zamboanga Peninsula and provinces of the Sulu Archipelago.

Last June 2006, the new High School campus already started its operation.  This is in line with our continued efforts to offer quality Jesuit education to students in the region.  After a few more years, the Grade School unit will also transfer to the same site, and so shall follow other structures to transform this site into a complete basic education campus.

The new site shall pave the way for a better learning environment for the young women and men of Zamboanga.
